SIP COSA 2 Sport Clutch Basket with Outer Ring - Reinforced base for COSA 2 clutches on Vespa PX/Cosa 2.
With tuned Engines，high engine speeds and continuous loads can put a lot of strain on the Clutch Basket - in extreme cases，it can fold open and the Cluster Circlip can work its way out of the groove.
This is exactly where the SIP Sport Clutch Basket comes in：With the Outer Ring closed，the basket retains its shape and the Cluster Circlip remains securely in position.

Optimized for precise fit and clean separation
The SIP Sport Clutch Basket COSA 2 is produced exclusively for SIP.
Special press molds were created for the outer and inner basket.
The flanks are induction-hardened and surface-optimized，the basket is designed for a high fitting accuracy.
The groove of the Cluster Circlip is optimized，the inner part has 16 Spring Attachments and is pressed with specially produced Rivets.
The Outer Ring consists of one piece and leaves sufficient space for the Clutch Friction Plates.
SIP specifies the dimensions as Φ 115 mm and Φi 108 mm; suitable for Vespa PX125-200 E Lusso ‘95→/’98/MY/’11 and Cosa 2 (vehicle assignment according to selection).
Practical tip：If necessary，slightly adjust the Clutch Friction Plates (e.g.
minimally deburr/grind in) to avoid a possible Hook.
Conclusion：Affordable reinforcement for COSA 2 clutches - ideal as soon as performance and load are above the standard level.
Use the Reinforcement Cluster Circlip from SURFLEX/SIP.
Check/replace the Pressure Plate，Push Rod，Securing Plate and Nut during assembly; Assembling Aid and Holding Tool make the work easier.
