More power and more durability require a clutch that grips cleanly and remains stable over the long term.
The SIP PERFORMANCE Clutch Friction Plates for classic Vespa models are manufactured by a renowned European manufacturer and combine high-quality friction materials with a sophisticated design - as Road，Sport or Race，depending on the configuration.

Segmented friction surfaces for lubrication and cooling
Reinforced carriers against wearing “lugs”
The pads are not designed as a continuous cork surface，but have separate friction segments.
This supports the oil supply，improves cooling and at the same time ensures solid power transmission.
Reinforcement of the backing material reduces the classic problem of worn out or worn “lugs”，thus Elevating the service life.
Three versions are available for different requirements：
Road with 3 pads including Washer and Springs (sintered cork compound)
Sport with 4 pads including Washers and Springs (sintered cork mixture)
Race with 4 linings including Washers and Springs with carbon black friction lining for maximum performance
This allows the Clutch to be specifically tuned to the riding style and engine performance - from everyday use to performance-oriented.

Soak the linings in Gearbox Oilovernight before fitting.
Replace Locking Washer，Woodruff Key and Nut .
Check the Pressure Plate and Push Rod for wear and replace if necessary.
When replacing the pads ，also replace the Thrust Washer of the Clutch.
For the Race version，use harder Springs depending on the engine power .
