The SIP Variokit stands for optimum power and promises more than just driving pleasure.
Along with the cylinder and crankshaft，the variomatic is the heart of every automatic engine.
It not only determines the shifting behaviour and torque，but also has a significant influence on the smoothness and top speed of CVT-driven engines.
By replacing the standard variator with the SIP PERFORMANCE Sport Variokit，you quickly get a noticeably better power output and improved pull of the scooter.
Perfectly matched to the GTS engine

The variokit for the GTS 250/300 is perfectly matched to the engine.
Not only the choice of weights and the contrast spring，but also the running surface angles of the variomatic and v-belt pulley have been specially adapted to the requirements of the PIAGGIO Quasar / HPE engine.
Especially in combination with the SIP PERFORMANCE driven pulley，we have been able to achieve an excellent power output and optimum shifting behaviour of the Vario drive.
Due to the extremely high-quality workmanship of all components of the SIP PERFORMANCE Vario，the service life and durability is significantly higher than with conventional variators.
In addition，the finely balanced，CNC-machined Vario + v-belt pulley puts much less strain on the engine and makes for much smoother running.
A striking but not negligible point is the weight saving of about 13％ compared to the original component (SIP Vario / slide / calotte / v-belt pulley / bush ＝ approx.
834 grams | PIAGGIO Vario / slide / calotte / v-belt pulley / bush ＝ approx.
965 grams).
Since the SIP variomatic is about 130 grams lighter than the standard Vario (weighed without variator rollers)，the stressed engine components such as crankshafts，bearing bushings etc.
are also somewhat less loaded.
