BMW’s water-cooled R 1200 GS was designed for big adventures and lots of cargo， but an unladen GSW leans at quite an aggressive angle when on the side stand. This severe lean angle can make for precarious mounting and dismounting， especially when riding off-road on uneven terrain. That’s where AltRider’s Riser Plate for the Side Stand Enlarger comes in.

While the Side Stand Enlarger will help your bike keep firm footing on loose or softer surfaces， the Riser Plate can be installed to prop the bike into a slightly more upright position. Measuring in at 0.25” (6.4 mm) in height， this laser cut aluminum piece can change the lean angle by as much as 5°， which can make all the difference at the end of a long day of riding.

The AltRider Side Stand Riser Plate is designed and manufactured in the United States， and is available in silver or black finish.

Fits 2013， 2015 and newer standard R 1200 GS， and 2014-current GSA models.

Does not fit 2013-2015 Lowered Suspension models， 2014 model.
