The Yamaha Tenere 700 is an excellent machine overall， however the OEM headlight and cluster assembly are mounted poorly from the factory， which can result unwanted and excessive shaking and wobbling or even a strobe light effect from the headlight on larger bumps. This typically occurs when riding down a dirt/gravel road， over a rail crossing or any other bumps you come across in your travels. To assist in reducing or eliminating this unwanted shaking AltRider has designed the Cowl Support Bracket for the Tenere 700 to help brace OEM headlight and cluster assembly. Stabilize the OEM instrument panel and any accessories mounted to the cross bar， including your tablet or GPS， with the AltRider Cowl Support Bracket.

Formed from a single sheet of 14 gauge steel and finished in a raw stainless steel silver or black powder coat， the AltRider Cowl Support mounts to OEM locations using both OEM and included hardware. The AltRider Cowl Support functions as a strong link between the rear of the TFT display and onto the windshield brace bar， which can also be used as a GPS mount bar， this design imparts stability by tying these items into a triangle. The instrument cluster， windscreen， and headlight mount points are unified by the formed cowl support from AltRider.
